Hey guys!

Myself, Mindy (ladyanneboleyn), and Africa are all attending the final Paper Airplane Tour shows in Knoxville on September 24th and 25th. We're trying to put together a little fan appreciation project for Alison and we're looking for some fan submissions!

If you want to participate, we are looking for a very brief message from you to Alison. It can either be general appreciation or admiration for her, or as a "thanks for an awesome tour!" type message since this will (hopefully) be given to her at the end of the tour.

We're also very crunched for time right now. It's the 15th of September now, and I, Allie, board my plane in a week. We don't need much time to put everything together, but we do need messages for her as soon as possible.

→ PLEASE be brief. At most, a paragraph, but try to shoot for two or three sentences. We're not printing out letters; we're planning on attaching the notes to a gift for her, so the smaller, the better. It doesn't have to be very deep - maybe a note about how her music brightens your day, something she's inspired you to do, or a general "thank you for being you" type of thing. Our goal is to make her smile.

→ Please try to have submissions in by September 22nd. We need to go through and format them to be printed by that night because we leave on the 23rd.

→ When submitting your message, please leave your first name, last initial, state you reside in, and if you attended a show this tour, what show that was. We're going to include this on your note as well!

You can either leave a comment here with your message (COMMENTS ARE SCREENED), or a direct email to fyakmods@gmail.com.

I'm traveling right now. As in I'm in Nashville and it took me about three days on a train to get here so this is what happened while I was offline:

[+] NPR First Listening of Paper Airplane.
[+] Tour dates were announced.
[+] Extended discussion of the making of Paper Airplane on MSN Entertainment.

Soo I guess if anyone feels like sharing anything feel free to do so. I'm gonna be busy the next two weeks.

The BBC has a short video on it's website.

"American country singer Alison Krauss talks about her latest musical projects. The singer already has twenty-six grammy awards under her belt and is about to release another album.

She joined BBC Breakfast to talk about singing, migraines and working with Robert Plant."
